I watched almost the entire last year of my television on my computer for the sake of convenience and accessibility, so my timing is a bit off for some shows.

I spent most of the episode (302 The Hybrid) yelling at the TV to give me Tyler and/or Caroline scenes. They are my two favorite new characters, and not because they are together. Yesterday’s season three premier was so much better than last year’s finale! My attention span is a little short when it comes to super drama, but the show did a fantastic job avoiding the eye-roll factor by splitting up story focus and soulful-eyed couples.

( It was a graveyard smash! )

So, this week's Vampire Diaries felt a bit slow to me. Probably because it was all very predictable. Jenna was kind of pathetic. Bonnie was badass. Stephan tried to sacrifice himself to make Elena feel better. Elena was distressed by everyone else's choices. My general feelings haven't changed.
